oh! easy answer... i only drive on roads i've scouted previously with my e91. for long trips when that's not possible i'll use "511" websites and Google's Street View for as much of the route as possible, or talk to people i know in the area first.

it's all about that Recon!

i'm positive i'd have bottoming issues with the car if i didn't research where it fits. even the house i live in was tested before calling a realtor for info on it to make sure i could get into the driveway... it's got a bit of an angle on entry. last year i did a 6 day trip through back roads in CO (Salida/Keystone areas), and checked the entrance to all the local breweries and hotels and POIs i knew i'd want to hit via Street View. the only issue i had were 2 places on I-76 in Denver where large dips caused the rears to rub the plastic liners. turns out PS4s are wider than the POSs i had before. no issues other than that though.

note: I-76, Denver to NE (both ways), is quite possibly the worst pavement i've ever been on in my entire life. CO needs to get their shit together on that.

Yea guess I need to rethink my routes. Funny thing is it’s no different than what I drove previously with my Z4 coupe on coilovers (granted TCK’s are not known for being low).

I wouldn't think there be much difference b/t the 3.0si (modded) vs a stock ///M... especially since the stock ///M is pretty tall. Is it possible your shocks are simply fatigued, and not able to keep up with the road surface?

I just think the lower fangs make all the difference when compared to a flat non-M bumper?

nah... not vs a 3.0si w/ aero front that sticks farther out. my guess is tired front suspension.
