Run Flat Tire Pressure, Need To Repump Once A Month
I talked to my brother about this and he confirmed he has this problem on his VW Phaeton. Seems Run-Flat tires need to be repumped to their designated PSI rating every month or so, sometimes I can go 6 weeks before I need to, depending on how often I drive.
Do Run-Flats lose air pressure faster than non-RF tires (i.e. regular tires)? |

The air pressure in 3 out of 4 of my RFTs was constant from April - September. The 4th had a small leak that I filled every other week. I finally tried a plug which held for 20 miles and then the air pressure warning came on. All four tires were replaced with non-RFTs in September and I don't miss the RFTs at all.

Not in my experience. My RFs have gone months and months without any change. Only pressure problem I had turned out to be a slow leak caused by a nail .. had to air up every 2-3 weeks until replaced.
