Performance driving school

I'm looking at taking a performance driving course of some sort this year. Does anyone have any experience with them around the GTA? The few that I've found: BMW Trillium ADS, iLR track and autoslalom, and Hanson's course. I'm interested in the car control aspect, not necessarily racing though there are overlaps obviously. I've been to Cayuga open lapping days several times so I'm not completely new to track driving.

Any feedback welcome! Thanks.

Trillium is pretty good bang for the buck.
There are several of us that are regularly out to their events.

+1

For the price and what you get it can't be beat. Having an instructor and class was very helpful in the start.

I try to get in 2 events a year with Trillium.

How much track time is included in the 2 day course? It says "four 30 minute rotations of each type of sessions per day". So that's 2hrs of classroom, 2hrs of skid pad and 2 hrs of track per day?

There is the AISA school at Calabogie that is a must for begginner or even for guys that want to get their race license. I was instructing in the advanced group with them between 2008-2012 and the staff is awesome!

Calabogie's quite the distance from Mississauga! I'd have to make it a road trip for that one..
