E46 coilover on z4 non m
Hi all i understand that e46 stocks/coilovers fit on z4 has anyone actually run this sort of set up however? How was it? Worth the saving or did it ruin the ride? My shocks are shot so not sure it can get any worse than what it is now. Killing two birds with one stone, if anyone has some shocks/coilovers they no longer need pm me haha. Thanks in advance

I am also looking for the answer to this - e85 shocks are crazy difficult to find out here in Thailand, but e46 shocks, including coilovers are widely available....
I've seen some (very few) posts where people have used e46 coilovers, but not explained how - and I've seen many posts online that people say its not possible. I really want to get a definitive answer |

They are a direct fit, the only difference would be the valving and spring rates, which are both different depending on brand anyway. I believe the e46 strut is slightly longer (15mm) i am not 100% sure though, of course this doesnt matter at all for coilovers.
