I am hoping someone can help me out. I am looking at getting some new wheels. I have found a set that I like but the offsets for the front are pretty aggressive. 19x8.5 ET30. I see a few a members that are running a similar setup but are sitting with a -2.X camber. I am lowered on Eibach with Koni's at about -1.0 camber. I'll be going with 225/35 for the tires. Will this setup work? I am not looking to add an camber plates or anything, I'll just go with my second choice if this doesn't work. Thanks.

F 19x8.5 ET30 225/35
R 19x9.5 ET36 265/30

Hey All,

New rims are in, but my tire supplier dodged me at the last moment saying they don't have the size I requested.

Can someone please help me confirm these tire sizes and specs.

The tires I was thinking was: 235/35/19 and rears at 265/30/19

Rims specs are: front 19x8.5 ET35 and rear 19x10 ET40

Check out my latest thread again if you want. I have the exact same spec front wheel and ran a 225 on front using the Hankook evo2's.

On the rear I ran a 265 like you, but at 10.5 width. If you used Hankook's you would have a little less stretch than me. But if you want a straight / vertical sidewall, I would go with the 275's.

This is a non-M thread, so offsets will be a little different.

I recently put on new tires - nightmare at the shop, and it took them four tries to get everything right (mounted front tire on rear wheel and rear tire on front wheel / swapped rear wheel to front and front wheel to rear / mounted directional tires in wrong direction).

Wheels are 18x8.5ET32 front, 18x9.5ET45 (+5mm spacer, so essentially ET40) rear.

Tires are meaty RE-71R, 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear. No rub on OEM sport springs.

The interesting thing is, when the shop initially mounted one of the 265 width tires on the front 8.5" wheel, I had no rub at full lock. I didn't drive it far enough to deal with turning + suspension compression due to potholes, but I was surprised it didn't rub.

I may move to a 245/275 setup next, or even a 255/275 setup.

Update: 235/40/18 rubs slightly under hard cornering with stock sport springs. A 255/35/18 tire may work better on the front due to the lower profile.

Looking to see if this wheel would fit has become a bit problematic for me, sizes are
F 19x8.5 et 30
R 19x10 et 35

Any info on if they would fit or rub would be greatly appreciated!
Going on a 3.0si with M Sport suspension, if it matters.

The front will be aggressive but can work. The rear will stick out past the fender by 1/4 inch or so.

front 19x8.5 ET35 and rear 19x10 ET40

I gotta say I am as happy is an addict in a lab.

I'm on BC Coils turned 3/4 down.

Still working on where is all rubs, sounds like liners right now but still haven't driven it hard.

Just an FYI for everyone. The rear camber adjustment also adjusts toe. So with a 0 toe I'm at 3.3 degrees of rear camber. Doesn't bother me for the look, but good for y'all to know.

More pics in a future thread

Hi guys,

I need some advice on wheel fitment. I have an 3.0i and will be installing koni yellow suspension with H&R coilovers which is about a 35mm drop. I will be running 18" ellipsoid 107 wheels.

My goal is to have an aggressive setup that doesnt rub but is flush with the fenders.
Can anyone recommend tire fitment options?
How wide can i got with these wheels?
Also I heard to get these wheels to fit better with flush i may require spacers, whats a good spacer to use with the setup im looking to achieve?

Current oem 107 wheel info for reference:
Front 225-40R-18 8x18 ET47
Rear 255- 35R-18 8.5x18 ET50

Thanks everyone!

The more you drop the less the car will look flush with stock wheels because he drop will induce camber and the wheels will be then be more tucked in. Wider tires will only do so much and frankly I wouldn't go wider than a 255 on a 8.5". You could go wider up front but then your overall diameters won't match between front and rear.

You need new wheels with lower offsets or run spacers like 12 and 15mm. Apex sells spacers that tend to be cheaper than others. That's what I run on my Z.

hey Thanks for the tips! I think im going to stick with these wheels as i am a big fan of their look. Ive heard of others using these combos and also hub centric spacers with extended wheel bolts:

15mm Front/20mm rear
12mm front/25mm rear
12.5mm front/20mm rear

Hello guys !

I need some advice on wheel fitment. I have an 2.5i and will be installing bilstein B12 kit which is about a 30mm drop. I will be running 17" JR9 wheels with 225/45 tyres all around.

Do you think that I can run one of this setup without rub or have to add camber ?

- Front : 225/45/17 7.5X17 ET25 or ET35
- Rear : 225/45/17 8.5X17 ET20 or ET25

Thanks everyone!

I'm fitting 225/45/18, 255/40/18 on my 3.0si roadster with stock 8/8.5 wheels and sport suspension. Right now, it bottoms out going in/out of my driveway on stock rubber.

I'd like to get a more flush look as well. Will 12/15 work with the taller tires without rubbing?
