Need help on ideas for headers

I have a 2003 BMW Z4 3.0i, wanting to install new headers and possibly aftermarket cats but may end up just leaving the secondary cats installed. Any ideas on places to get good quality headers without spending thousands of dollars? Also will this setup require an Ess tune to bypass the SES light? Thanks for all of the help!!

Do you need to pass smog?

I would like to be able to pass emissions just in case of re-sell.

Active or Ess for software. E46fanatics has/had a active group buy. May still be going on? The quality headers are expensive. eBay headers or a slightly better (so I've been told...no personal experience) stett performance headers
