Hello So. Cal!

Hey guys,

Moved from Michigan to Temecula CA. WOW! I've found some great driving roads in the area. I'm wondering if there are any fellow Z owners around that might have personal favorites. Good to be on smooth pavement!!!

Welcome to CA! Home of fellow likeminded car enthusiasts and LEO's that despise modified foreign cars. But we all get along just fine

Never driven all the way to Temecula but by doing a quick Google search in your area I noticed 2 roads:

https://www.google.com/maps/dir/O'Ha...74!2d33.500522

and

https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Jilb...d33.231999!3e0

I'm more closer to the Valley where there's Mulholland, The Snake, Stunt Rd, the list goes on. So if you ever come up here you won't be disappointed

Drive safe!

De Luz via Rancho Cal is a local Temecula favorite. You can take it all the way down to Fallbrook or do a shorter loop via Sandia Creek Dr to take you back toward Old Town.

Lots of good stuff just a hair south on Palomar Mountain.

I believe someone else suggested Ortega Hwy which is usually pretty crowded but a good road none the less.

The other side of 74, Palms to Pines I believe it's called, is amazing. Here's a description of the route that includes 243. http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=844456

Welcome to Temecula. My wife's whole family is there so I'm there pretty frequently. It's a nice area. Enjoy!

+1 on 74, its a great drive.. Haven't had the chance to take my new Z4 MC on it yet, but I'm heading to SD later this week I'm hoping I'm able to give it a go!

Welcome to SoCal and enjoy the ride!

Welcome to the neighborhood!
I'm on the East Side, out toward Ontario/Pomona.

Avoid the right 2 lanes on ALL freeways. Pavement is collapsed from truck traffic.
I hit a couple sections on the 60 that I thought were going to set off my airbags.

You'll want to get used to using the right lane on 15 between SD and Corona because nobody else does. It's often the smoothest flowing traffic. Good advice about torn up pavement, though. Certainly an abundance of that on CA freeways.

Welcome to the area, I'm located in Corona. Avoid 91 East from Anaheim to Corona from 3pm-9pm at all costs.
