I've been using Imgur to post pictures on Bimmerpost and other forums. It's free and easy to use. However, I have not tried any other service.

So what's the advantage of a hosting (hosing?) service rather than just uploading the pics directly to the forum?

My only web-enabled "mobile" device is my 17" laptop, so not sure how hard it is to get at the paper clip from a phone or tablet. Embedded image: More text here, blah blah blah
