Simple question - does not seem to have been answered before...

What is the standard color of the OEM wheels and where can you get the paint?

The wheels I have need some touch up before spring and just want a rattle can to repaint the bad areas.

I'd ask the guys over on the UK forum too (http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2) .

In the meantime, I expect that a local shop could refinish and make your rims look brand new for not very much money at all.

pretty sure the paint code you're looking for is "144"
touch up bottles should be available at your local dealer, or places like ECS

+1, it's most advisable to find a local wheel repair specialist that will match the finish currently on there. Consider the years of road debris and sunlight that has gone up against the OEM finish. A quick yelp search for "wheel repair" sometimes works, otherwise you can try calling your dealership service center and ask if they know of anyone - dealerships may curb rash wheels and will contact repair specialists to fix to new condition.
