Retrieving ABS faults Z4M C
Hello guys, my Z4M unfortunately just had its first encounter with rain, and of course, a few lights illuminated during the trip. I have seen this topic before in reference to the 3 yellow indicators illuminated, I think ABS, Traction control, and brake icons all at once. Im having trouble on the diagnostic end trying to pull codes from the car. A typical OBD2 scanner will not likely be helpful, so purchased a cable from ECS, USB to OBD2, which is supposed to be able to communicate using downloaded software. I cannot seem to get the INPA software to work, and have no other resources to pull the codes. Im not taking the car to the dealer, and dont want to waste the time of a private shop, as I know I will be repairing myself. Any suggestions on how to get these codes? Thanks

Somebody mentioned this in another thread.
I have the Peake Research R5/FCX-3-16 and it's been serving me well, but cost me over twice as much.

unluky just bought one to clear his air bag light in this thread.
Maybe he can verify. P.S. How's the condition of your battery? That trio of lights is common if your battery is weak, even if it seems to start the car fine. It's a quirk of our cars.

The first time I got those lights was on a 5 year old battery.
If you scan it, it will say it's throttle position sensors and throttle actuator. Replaced the battery and was fine for a year. Lights came back, and occasional limp mode. Took the battery in and it tested fine. Second time actually was throttle position sensor.
