Lear amplifier, is it stock and how does it mount?

Was removing panels on my 3.0si coupe, and noticed the amplifier was just strapped on there. Turns out it is a Lear unit. I have Nav and cd changer. Everything seems to work, but I cannot find any information on how this amplifier is supposed to be mounted?

And, is it an original amplifier sold with these Z4s?

Use realoem.com and use last 7 digits of your VIN. The breakdown for the amplifier will give you the pn for the amp. Compare it to your amp. I have a '04 which has the amp in the battery well but later years have them in the trunk behind the trunk liner. The diagrams of the car should show you where it's supposed to be located in your car. Might take awhile for you to find the right diagram.

I went through all of that before posting on here, and nowhere did I find any info on Lear amplifier mounted in the rear as it is on mine. I went through various variations of the years and amplifier models, none of them matched. I suspect previous owner swapped some other amp on here and just strapped it down.

As far as the Lear being OEM, yes.
Can't comment on mounting.

The amps are just strapped in place to the bulkhead with a sheet metal strap. Nothing very fancy....
