resetting bulb warning light
Guys, I searched and probably looked right over it, but is there any way to reset the bulb replacement warning light on the dash? Turn signal failed, bulb warning light came on on the dashboard. I replaced the bulb and confirmed all other bulbs are working fine, but the warning light remains on, frustratingly.
thanks! |

It should go away if it's all clear - may simply be a bad connection, possibly not a good or up to 100% bulb per the check, or some corrosion in the socket. I would start there again - had a frustrating experience on my E90 very similarly. Replaced a signal bulb twice with a new one, the warning light went away.

The error light should go out once the bad bulb has been replaced. I always use bulb grease on the bulb and socket to ensure corrosion does not form on the connections. Since the LCM is monitoring all the bulbs, any weak connections could trigger the error. Is the replacement bulb the correct wattage? |
