Pics of tinted rear tail lights
Here you go for those who had requested pics of these. This was a custom lamin-x application using the smoked shade. You can see in one of the shots where I used a flash to show that the reflector affect is not lost. There is only a 10-15% reduction in penetrance of light.

looks awesome OP. i did this to one of my previous silver sports car and i really liked the effect. i plan on doing all reflectors, thrid brake light and tail lights. just gotta find someone i can trust haha

I guess I'm alone in my opinion.
I just never understood how these improve the look of an car. Main thing is that you do though.

I'm not a fan of vinyl roofs and that stuff either.... so maybe it's just me... I love the contrast the bring to the rear of the car:
