DFW Z4 and Z4M Meet

Several of us DFW guys talk a great deal and realized its been a long time since an organized Z4 and Z4M Group Meet. Whats everyone's
thoughts on a July meet? What time of day or evening? It would be great to have a huge turnout.

I'd be interested to meet if my rotating shift schedule allows. If it has to be a Saturday, the first couple of weeks in August would work for me better. I already have plans on my July Saturdays off. I would also be able to do the last two Sundays in July.

My July weekends are crazy. I'd be up for a meet if I'm available. A weeknight or August would be better for me.

I'm all the way from Austin and I could make a weekend out of it and see some relatives in the area. Ultimately I'm just curious what all we would be up to in the great DFW area.

I might be interested in coming out depending on when you set it up. Could also put out something on the local BMW Clubs like NTBC. I'm local north Dallas.

So it sounds like early August would be best for the meet. Does anybody have any idea where to meet? I'd definitely like to check out some other Z's.

Right now I don't have any plans on August 2nd, 9th or 16th. But that might change the longer we wait to nail down a time and place.

I'm good for the 2nd and the 9th. I know nothing of Dallas and the car scene there.

I'm in. I'm not too familiar with Dallas either, but I'm willing to travel. I'm in Burleson which is south of Ft. Worth.

Looks like it will be a Coupe meet, so far. Did we want to find someplace in Arlington? It might be hard to find someplace covered unless we meet in a parking garage somewhere. Location or food doesn't matter to me, I'll go anywhere.

I'm not sure if you guys enjoy the Cars and Coffee Scene but if we do hit the 2nd then we would be able to meet out there. Would be interesting to roll up with a couple of us considering you rarely see more than one Moupe at any given time.

I would like to attend it just knowing that they typically have an outstanding turn out of cars and we could of course move on from there to the various activities in or around Dallas. This is just a suggestion, but I would like to see it come to fruition.

I will probably drive up on Thursday afternoon and take Friday off from work, this would allow me to visit with my brother who is in Addison, not sure if you guys are anywhere close to there.

C&C is fine, been many times. To get a prime spot for say 5-10 cars you are going to need to get on the lot by 6:30 I am guessing. There are plenty of places to grab a brunch north on the Tollway after C&C. Classic would be impressed to get 10+ M Coupes on the lot all in one location. Even M Roadsters, Z3 M Coupes and Roasters also.

I can put the word out. I'm not shy to toe the line at 6:30, military mornings aren't new to me lol.

If other's want to make something of it I think it'd be worth it. There's the Fort Worth show to my understanding on the 9th.

Also there is the Tejas Chapter (BMWCCA/ZSCCA) Fix it day at the Dallas BMW Dealership on the 2nd as well. Just throwing things around. Some from the fix it are going to CnC and others are just attending the fix it. We'll see what we can stir up in a month.

As I see it, it's the DFW guys that are hosting this shindig... I'm only making suggestions .

I'll be happy either way, it also gives me an excuse to go visit my brother with a new gopro and work on his 1 series.
