Wow this is good! I have NEVER washed the sills that way, or the inside of the doors. In fact I’ve never washed them, I just use the water that runs in there and wipe it off, kinda cleans itself. Also, around the 7th minute of video, he folds his side mirrors outward, do all Z4M’s do that? Mine only fold inward, I guess I could try outward but they feel like they’ll break

Oh man, I know how this guy feels. I bought a 330Ci ZHP for my son, and it's BMW 668 Jet Black. From 10 feet away, the car looks fantastic. From 5 feet away, I see a few things here and there. Under close examination and bright light, it's holy crap what happened to this car! Swirl marks, chips, etc, etc. I was in the process of doing paint restoration when the Yanks decided to share their weather with us here in the South. Thanks for sharing, guys. You can take your weather back, now. :-)

I've never tried that trick with the mirror. I do know they will bend forward because I've bumped it a few times walking around the car in a tight garage. I didn't know it stay folded like that.

Very thorough job. I too have BSM paint and its not easy to keep scratch free! This car didnt seem too dirty to begin with tho? My neighbors think Im nuts but I use a leaf blower to dry the car and it works great. A car cover is a must for a black car- bought something by sparco that is satin and fleece lined and keeps my baby nice. Shes in bed for a couple more months.
