VMR V710's
Im looking at possibly getting a set of VMRs in my future but I dont have really any experience with wheels/tires. Im going to guess that they would look and ride better as 19's? Also what is a good wheel offset and tires size on a stock 3.0si coupe?

I have 18" V710's for my winter tires. Worst wheels I've ever owned and I've owned +10 sets of aftermarket wheels for my Z4s. Heavy as concrete and the finish chips if you just stare at it. This is Vancouver winter so the wheels might've seen 1 light snow day in their life-time, so road conditions aren't the reason for the crapped finish. I don't really care too much since they're my winter set-up, but if they were my summers I'd have been pissed off about buying them.
There are much better wheel options out there than the V710's.

I have VMR V710s. For the money spent ~1200 for a set of 19s with gunmetal finish, I am very impressed and happy. You cant be rubbing them against a curb and expecting the finish to hold up.

I'm kind of trying to find a used pair with tires <$1000. I've seen a lot go for that. I just don't have very much money to spend which really limits me. I know VB3's/CSL Reps go for around that same price range too.

Stock
I spent hours looking at wheels for my M and ya know - spending 1600 bucks on new wheels when the stock ones are worth near 2 g is a little off - especially if not tracked.
I would love a set if E-7s or 8's but ONLY if I could sell the stock for as much or more and as nice as a lot of aftermarkets look - they aint a lot better.

My 2 cents...I've been looking for wheels for my Mcoupe for over a year, really wanted V710's could never find them in silver...I got tired of looking and bit the bullet and spent the $$ on new wheels
I went with SportLine C.S 16..amazing..lighter and stronger than VMR's..Jersey roads and three months and constant washing they still look great.. two thumbs up
