Never even heard of a syclone before... haha. Sounds like a beast though!

The parts specific to the Syclone/Typhoon-(Blazer body) were the Mitsubishi turbo, Air-to-water Garrett intercooler, IC pump and lines, upper Intake, exhaust headers,Aero body-kit and 2-piece wheels. Engine was a 4.3 liter V/6 producing 285hp with awesome torque.....enough to embarrass the Vette for the next several generations. As things often are...the actual hp was over 300+ , artificially low I'd guess to avoid gas guzzler taxation. There are several of these out there on the road driving with 5-800hp. They launch like nothing else. There are video's of them spanking superbikes handily. |

This is my winter ride and also my when it rains ride. I have had this truck since 2003 and its been chugging along fine. Works great in every condition I have been exposed to. Just did timing belt and will be sad when I put my M to sleep for the winter (well prolly not all of it, just when it snows, rains, or the day I get to reload at costco)

Two winters ago on a sunny day in February I was listening to the radio when someone called in and said "there's an idiot driving down Country Hills Boulevard in a convertible with their roof down", no doubt it was me. I can't bring myself to driving a vehicle with less fun and handling capability as my daily ride, no matter what the weather. |

in the winter I push the air through a single vent hole, center one closest to driver. Hat that covers ears, scarf, gloves...

It doesn't get as cold down here, but can still get too chilly in January and February. I too have scarfs and driving gloves ............ can't give up that top down vibe

With a good rider, even with 800 horsies it would not hold a candle to a superbike. Maybe a regular motorcycle, but definitely not a SS.

There will ALWAYS be a top dog , day by day, build by build. I might mention to....there is room in the back to haul said bike if it blows. |
