Removing Lower Mesh Grill

Ok, I've searched the forums (and Google!) trying different variations of the title above.

No luck... Anyone know how to remove the lower mesh grill on my 05

You may be able to get at it by removing the undertray and working from under the car, but much easier to remove the grille by removing the front bumper cover.
There are about 20 spring nuts holding the grill to the inside of the cover

Cheers.

I'm looking at sinking some daytime running lights into it... might just cut the needed rectangle out using a dremmle.

***Update***

The mesh grill on the 05 at least, requires that you take the bumper cover off to get at it, and you'll need replacement washers should you do so.
I took the kidneys out and looked inside there... Decided against doing that mod!! - WAY too much work!

If you want DRL's, just have yours turned on in the coding.

Actually, it should take you all of about 30 minutes to pull the front bumper cover off.
