Tail lights fitting

This bothers me a lot because it triggers my OCD
I have seen many zeds and every single one of them has a problem with tail lights spaces between bumper and fender and trunk, not to mention this hilarious tail light plastic covers.
I have tried to move them a little bit so that spaces can be same on every corner and so on. Just look at this piece of engineering...
Do you have the same problem with it?

Mine are the same. Gaps are uneven and not the same on each side.
Left side of my trunk lid also has excess curvature.
P.O. either backed into something or slammed the trunk hard while overloaded.

My taillights are the same. Gap bugs me every time I wash or detail.

Funny how different people are. I am pretty compulsive myself and I can't see any issues in the photo posted (the gaps look even all the way around the light to me). Mine looks the same and is great compared with the horrible panel gaps in my '16 RDX...

Life is too short, people. Go for a drive, then sit down with loved ones or friends and crack open your favorite adult beverage. Time better spent.

Here is the problem - its relativity.

The taillights in your car are designed to appear properly proportioned while the car is in motion and when viewed by an observer who is also in motion. Your car is parked and you are also stationary so that's why they look all wrong.

Bazinga.

Anyone know if they sell the little plastic piece to the left of the tail light. It's crescent moon shaped. It's the piece that's resting against the rear fender in that picture. Mine has a lot of play in it.

You will need to remove bumper. Just saying.
