Hey guys,

I am happy to be a part of this community even though it is small. I picked her up 2 weeks ago and have been having a blast. Lots of creaks and rattles but I believe majority of that is due to the RE exhaust. Here is a picture of her first track day and picture

Yes I know I should of pulled up more and align her with the tire marks. Noticed it after I left

Welcome! The RE exhaust certainly does rattle some interior parts at the drone RPM...but so worth it

I never drove the M3 at WSIR.
The Z4MC did okay at WSIR, it is a high speed track and needs a lot of brakes, I haven't modded the car yet so it has stock pads, brake fluid, and some chinese tires, brakes faded after 3rd braking zone and tires have no grip at all… I unconfidently did a 1:40-1:42 ish time because I didn't want to go flying off…
I drove my friend's Z4MR at Buttonwillow for two sessions before with pads, fluids, ss line, Z2s, and KW Clubsports (not set up correctly), it did okay but I felt my stock suspension with what I believe H&R springs is set up better than his for some reason.
When compared to the M3 (Stock with PSS) I don't understand what people mean when they say this car is finicky, feels fine to me and if it breaks away it is very controllable. I will be at Buttonwillow Dec22 then I will write a full review. One thing I noticed is how much better the clutch and gearbox feel on the Z4MC vs the M3. Shifts also sound awesome. I Agree 100% about the shifts. I had read multiple complaints about the gear box before purchase but 2nd to 3rd keeps a permanent ear to ear grin on my face!
