codes codes codes
I knew it would happen sooner or later, I got into my car to drive home, and my service engine light came on,I had to drive it home like that, but I went to a nearby Auto Zone to get it scanned. Two codes popped up, 3242 , and 134. The 3242 pertains to the oxygen sensor, the other code I'm not sure of,I'm hoping someone here knows what it might be. A funny thing happened , I had put about a 1/4 bottle of Gumout in my gas tank two hours earlier, after i left the Auto Zone, the light went out,I got home and i shut off the engine, then restarted it, no more light, i would like to get some feedback before i go and order an oxygen sensor ,the readout says : Definition: Heated oxygen sensor-bank 1 sensor 1 (H02S11)
sensor circuit no activity detected Explanation: Air/fuel ratio concern -lean or rich Probable Cause: Open or short circuit concern Faulty H02S11 Bank 1 Sensor 1 The car seems to drive normal, was this maybe one of those freak things or something that i should address right away,I would appreciate any and all feedback on this,i'm sure others have had similar problems, thanks.
