Man yall make me feel like I need to sell mine and get a Honda Accord because I don't keep it in a humidity controlled garage on all but the most perfect day, and then wear gloves when I drive it.
Sorry, my steering wheel trim has worn spots on it, the front end is chipped up pretty bad from a 60 miles on interstate each day. Wear happens. I would certainly be concerned if the car had been wrecked, but after that I think it boils down to what the purpose of the car is. If it is to daily drive much distance at all then I wouldn't worry too much with the little stuff, you can replace worns interior trim, and the rest will just get like that anyway. If it was going to sit in the garage and look pretty then that is a different story. |

I save a bit of my budget each year just to replace worn items.
Next year will be a front bumper repaint at 30,000. Since I'm a big guy, I'll probably need a new seat recovered at 45,000. Etc., etc. |

man i drove the last Z to about 100k... did all the maintenance my self.
but then again I had a lot of time and I had not a lot of expense... now it's like total opposite! thats one reason why I am kinda hesitant... i dunno if i can give this baby attention it deserves...

Yep - wouldn't touch that one. Looks like an economy paint job. If they can't even take the gaskets out and mask properly - why bother? It isn't an old Geo Metro...
