I know it can't happen since you have to type passwords and confirm buttons...

I have this paranoia that I'll be signed into ebay from a previous session, then in looking at something silly like this I'll accidently click "Bid Now" and hit enter instead of backspace and unintentionally buy something like this.

Now I sign out of ebay whenever I'm done.

I accidentally almost bought a yellow porsche boxster on ebay once. I was showing my mother how the reserve price works and bid on it to show that my bid wouldn't get accepted because it was too low. Accidentally put an extra zero on it and I was the top bidder. I flipped out.

The thing was junk and had been ragged hard. Luckily I was able to retract my bid but I was sweating for about 45 minutes. Never doing that again.
