Still in love with my 13 year old 2.5

This has been my dream car once it came out and got a used one with 80k. Its now at 140k and waiting for it to die so I can get my next dream car of a sdrive35is.
First day I got it.. CVV needed replacement due to leaking, door handles were jacked up, new tires were needed, all emblems were wearing off, AC messing up, cup holders fell off (lol), needed oil change and but it had new brakes lol. Not too long ago, i left 2 lbs of meat under the passenger seat and it leaked blood for a week.. Maggots filled my car and I had to take the carpet out and clean out the foam from maggots.. i couldn't even take a picture.. i just threw on gloves and went at it.. barf

Had some long nights as a passenger in my car..

I had a moment of darkness

3/4 rims had cracks in it so I bought new 17's.. should of gotten 18's. New wax job and a some plastidip fun.

neww lip,just discovered these..

Wow - I think I would have to get rid of my car if I had the issue with the meat you had!

it was so bad that i don't usually bring it up ever since it reminds me of the maggots and smell. I was still saving up for my expensive wedding and a new car was way out of the picture.. if it happened today, i'd be signing for a 35is tomorrow.

I have figured out every so often you need to look under the passenger seat, never know what you will find.

Interesting, do you guys use your passenger seat? Mine is only used for my work bag or a passenger. Everything else goes in the trunk.

Garage List
When I first read the subject, I thought this was going to be a post about Jerry Lee Lewis.

I agree. I thought Jerod from Subway was the OP because the forum software truncates the post title on a quick glance.

I was like, oh boy...We're on FBI's watch list now.

Not a bad thing if they all go buy a Z4. Just watch for new members with handles like "G-Man Gerry" or whatever.

2007 z4m's are going for ~20k for ~40k miles... I might just trade in. I've done and probably spent around 7,000 to get this car back to a good shape..

Cool, which lip is that and where did you buy it from? I wonder if it will match a black Z4 closely enough where I wouldn't have to paint it.

Lip looks amazing and can't believe i never saw it before. That would of been my first mod 5 years ago lol. I got it on ebay, look up duraflex z4 lip hms ~150+50shipping. I put tire shine on it so its blends in well. You won't need to repaint.

It fits so perfectly on the 03's. I think I'm going to keep this car and see how far I can hit. Maybe 200k! Hell everything is basically replaced..
