how to remove the windows controls section?

hi, i want to give them a new coat of paint, that plastic coating they have on them sucks harder than a dingo trying to suck beer out of a beer can in the middle of the desert.

hopefully they just pop out? i also wanna do the airco middle grill, anyone know how to pull that puppy out?

The center A/C grill has tabs you can see in the center of each vent (top edge) you have to depress then slide out. I would guess the door panel has to come off to remove the window switches.

If you're going to pop door cards make sure you have some of these and some of these.

I think there's 4 white and 3 yellow per side.
Buy extras.
