Advices please, i buy tomorrow: Z4M 2006
Hi,
So I am about to buy a z4m roadster in like-new conditions tomorrow with only 53000kms. Thanks to the carproof I have a perfect history of the mileage and different owners but not the maintenance schedule. The las owner frow who I buy the car just own it for last year and has done an oil change last year abd run the car 5k miles during the summer. According to him the car has always been maintained at the dealer according to the previous owner. Actually the car is imaculate with 4 new potenza and breaks. The leather also is like new . So it smells good. I read a lot, and at this mileage I don’t see many things mandatory. If I can not find a proof aof inspection I or II. Do you strongly advice to make the vanoa adjustment and bolts as well as sone other major maintenance work by prevention? My main concern is the age 12 years, and not the mileage. I want the best for the car so thanks for your advices |

Without evidence of a valve adjustment and routine oil changes I'd negotiate the price down using those as the reason.
After you buy it you can do as much or as little preventative work as you please. |

You can try and get a BMW dealer to do a service history printout from the VIN. TheZ4M Coupe i purchased 2 years ago was in "transport mode" from dead battery so had to go to dealer for that.
