Has anyone played around with the contour hd gps? It has a built in gps that records your location along with the video and then overlays it onto google earth in a small box next to the video screen. They are also coming out with a Bluetooth unit that let's you use your iPhone as a monitor. I just got one and have only used it skiing but the footage is really good. You can check out user videos on their website.

I've got one, lite, easy to use, durable and inexpensive.

I have the GoPro HD and love it. I taped the snap on mount to the front bumper and it's not easily visible. In the photo below, look at the center bumper intake, you'll see a little nudge in the middle, that's the GoPro mount.

GoPro has good features and great image quality. Only complaint is the sound, but the cases are waterproof and there are lots of different mounting options (have a mount for my motorcycle and helmet too). Plus it has excellent spot metering for mounting the camera inside... no 'iris' effect.

Actually that video makes the GoPro look very nice...visually the clarity is better than a lot of videos I have seen on the vendor site.
