FS: Sparco 6-Point Harness (Red)
Hey guys/gals. I recently bought a used--but in VERY good condition--(Red) Sparco 6-Point Harness. They are bolt-in style, and the camlock works like new. I currently have them test-fitted in my car, with the use of Sparco seat, but I have yet to use them on the track under my ownership. As far as I know, they were used for auto-x before my ownership. Looking to upgrade to a brand new set to keep up-to-date with track sanctioning regulations, etc. My loss is your gain? Asking $150 SHIPPED within continental U.S.A. I'm not really interested in a 6-Point...and looking to use OEM seats.
But quick question...Where are the mounting points for the rear straps? Sorry for derail. Good luck with sale |

The lap belts can be mounted to the floormounts or even sandwiches between the floormounts and the seat's sidemounts. As for the submarine belt(s), those require a horizontal bar connecting the floormounts together. This submarine belt tie-down needs to be as far back as possible with respect to the seat's center line. In any case, I would not use anything other than OEM belt with OEM seats. |

I got a PM, and it prompted me to clarify. These harnesses that I want to sell are merely out-of-date in terms of meeting certain DE or other sanctioning bodies' rules/regulations, and that's the only reason I want to swap them out. Otherwise I'd keep these, as they're in like-new condition

What purpose does your post serve exactly? Aside from a free bump, I can't fathom why you couldn't keep from posting that lol. I'm seriously dumbfounded by your logic.

^ Lies!
I've sold PLENTY of items successfully on and off the forums for years. Just depends on how badly the buyer wants the item. I honestly don't think it's a matter of pix here for this specific feeler/sale, but I'll humor you with some pix in the upcoming couple of days The biggest problem IMHO is that most people don't go as far as putting in a bucket seat. Also, there would need to be a harness bar as well. Breaking those two moulds is the key here |

As you say these are out of date being an 05 manufacturing date, but did you know that many dealers will re-web them for you.
Personally I'd have them re-webbed and either sell as new Or use them on your passenger side installation. Lastly many track day / HPDE & even AX organizations require parity of safety equipment for driver & passenger. Reason being any passenger or instructor should have the same level of protection as driver. |

Interesting. Do you know how much they charge for re-webbing?
I don't want to deal with airbag issues. Also saves me a hell of a lot of money by not having to put a seat in for passenger. No passenger = weight savings = win In all seriousness, luckily my sanctioning body does not require such parity |

Corbeau, GForce & Ultrashield definitely do it costs $50 - $100.
Simpson has apparently stopped. Give Sparco a call & give us an update. Alternatively turn the webbing into cool tow rope. Before you ask no not for my collection, I make trophies for the local car clubs. |
