Windshield glares

anyone else have issues with front and rear window glares?

front being from the venting, rear being from the escape handle.

Do you use the compartment cover on the back (aka window shade)

Good point -- I don't think I notice the glare in the back with the shade drawn.

Glare in the front is pretty noticeable driving into direct sun though. I can see the vents and the outline of the nav system.

Hopefully you don't start noticing them now!

I don't see much glare from the front, in part because I use Stoner's Invisible Glass. At the rear, I keep the cover drawn so I don't see the kidnap release handle. The Solsitce is a different story - even with IG I get tons of reflections of the chrome bezels everywhere.

I've been looking for a good glass cleaner so I need to try some of this stuff. Currently using CG's Window Clean and I think it works pretty well. I just need to wipe down the inside sometimes, which is a pain in the ass in the Z4. Maybe I'll give that reach tool a try.

Thats what polorized sunglasses are for, Oh sure there handy for fly fishing to see whats in the water, but they also completely remove reflection of the dash from your windshield. If youve never driven with polorized lenses and you notice windshield glare, youll be amased!

+1 for Stoner's Invisible Glass and +1 for cleaning the inside of the windshield being a PITA!

I can't say that I've ever really noticed any reflection before. The only thing that ever annoyed me was when I'm keeping my car as clean as I should and a haze builds up on the inside of the windshield.

I saw the same problem with the truck release handle addressed in a forum a couple of years ago. Someone had painted the handle flat black, and that seemed to solve most of his problem.

I wear polarized sun glasses so I have little issue with glare, reflection, etc.
