What size rims and tires fit my '07 Z4

Hello everyone:

I have an '07 Z4 with stock rims and 225/45/17 tires. I believe the rim is 17x8.

I want to replace the stock wheels with aftermarket wheels. I wanted to know what size rim and tire will fit this car? What size "offset" will work?

I found these 18's on ebay, will they work:

new wheels

What size tires will work on this rim?

Recommended spec is as follows.

E85 Zer non-M
18x8.5 ET35-40
18x9.5 ET40
225/40/18
255/35/18

19x8.5 ET35-40
19x9.5 ET40
225/35/19
255/30/19

It'll be a lot more flush than the conservative OEM setup. But you can probably push it out an additional 5-10mm with spacers if you really wanted to, depending on tire brand/size.
