I got a chance to go over the Z4M and the amount of custom work that has already went into it. My guest is an engineer and a specialist with design and he was impressed by the quality of work and also how well form met function. I was dumbfounded with how much time went into the custom parts, and the end result. Definitely not something I would have the patience, skill level, or ambition to undertake. Shawn had an endless knowledge of BMW's, and it was immediately apparent how passionate he is about them. His Z3M is immaculate, and also custom modified from head to toe. I can only imagine how much work went into it, and how much experience and knowledge he received from that alone.

Lutz has a buffet style approach for customers. You pick and choose what you want, and they have the knowledge and experience to make sure it all goes together. They can make you a street, drag, or track application customized to your needs. When you buy a mass produced kit, it may or may not meet the application you intended it for.

Unfortunately for me I am no longer a tampa resident. I feel that these are the people I would trust to leave my car with. They care about my car and performance goals as much as I do.

Shawn/Andrew, I think you have a great thing going, and I appreciate the time you spent with us. You have an established business, customers, and you aren't some shop that puts dollars over sense. Thank you for your time on Friday and especially the opportunities and knowledge you bring to the BMW community.

Thank you for the kind comments! We really really enjoy what we do, and hopefully you getting to meet us in person we were able to display that while you were here.

Thanks again for taking the time to stop by and we hope to one day help YOU make your dreams come true!

Any time your in the area, you are always welcome to stop by! We are here for ALL of you!

We are waiting for Pro-EFI to ship the last couple remaining parts we need to complete the engine management system (including the main harness) we asked for them to ship what you see so we can get started on installation while we wait, so that the build is not delayed anymore than it has too!

Awesome build so far. I've been lurking in this thread, trying not to drool too much on my keyboard. The only thing I've seen so far that you guys have done wrong is the banner in your sig. Where's the Z4 Love? Show that baby off!

the only thing id like pro-efi to work on is the size of the unit, and also a neater solution for the wiring... they can look really messy, id like to make a "show" of the ecu and let it be a function, but good looking addition to the engine bay, epecially with an engine bay as cool looking as the z4m's.

As the owner of this car you can all imagine how excited I am about the build, I appreciate all the great support and comments. I'm super ecstatic with the incredible work that has been done, it's absolutely amazing! You can clearly see why it I brought my car all the way from California to Florida to have this project executed.

In addition to the remaining engine related components, we're also getting the drivetrain in order. We've got some custom aircraft grade DSS axles being built right now, along with a first-ever SouthBend full feramic clutch as well as a SB custom 4140 billet steel lightweight flywheel all on the way.

Stay Tuned! (pardon the pun)

Mores!

ProEFI P&P harness

ECU bracket

Had to use the same placement as other companies Was hoping for some more harness length as this is quite possibly the WORST place it could fit

Turner oil cooler fitting block - 10an

Vacuum block - location 1 - soon to moved because the ProEFI harness won't reach the MAP sensor

Gotta build an M20 top mount manifold this week as well, more as I get to it during the week!

No the car is not running, still some work to do. Just received some more parts, got the electrical pins I was waiting on from ProEFI, and work begins again!

Vac block moved, boost control solenoid mounted

Driveshaft Shop axles, custom, one of a kind for us and Trevor's build!

Southbend clutch and flywheel, again custom one of a kind for us and Trevor's build

omg.... i dont who trevor is but..... brother got money yo.....

those drive-shafts.... WOW!!!!! Pure beauty!! would love a set of these for my car, but with my low Tq blower setup not really needed!!

i wish pro-efi would hurry up their manufacturing process..... they are way to slow and imo its starting to become "known" fabulous product but they need to iron out their issues......

now that clutch/driveshaft setup..... more info please....
