Cleaning steering wheel leather?

Hi, what's the best way to give the leather on the steering wheel a good clean?

Went for a fang yesterday and love driving the M just needs a awesome clean and detail, so I am starting with the inside. Already repaired a few broken trim bits, now onto the steering wheel and the headlights....

So any way to thoroughly clean the leather on the wheel would be great

Zaino also has nice products, Z-9 and Z-10, to clean and then protect:

The best product I've used is Leatherique, slather that shit all over the wheel, wrap it in a plastic bag and let it sit in the sun for a few hours. Remove it with pristine clean or another pH neutral leather cleaner and it's like brand new. I tried leather masters strong cleaner and their rejuvenator type product, but it left the wheel not as matte finish as I like.

I would start with a warm rag and water before you go crazy with cleaners. I don't like leather cleaners personally, you can use something like lexol to condition the leather after you clean it.

I wouldn't use lexol on the wheel unless it's the pH neutral soap. The wheel isn't really a coated leather, semi-aniline like the nappa seats.
