DSC error

hello all,

2007 Z4 si roadster

been dealing with a cracked wheel issue and just got a refinished one for the rear.... it looked funny out of the box and I wanted to check to see if it was true.

I jacked up the rear of the car, put on blocks, removed the drivers rear tire/wheel and put on the new wheel (no tire), started the car and put it in gear... watched the wheel spin to see if its straight, a minute in I hear beeping and noticed lights on dash. Shut it down.

replaced old tire and wheel and started car back up. Now have yellow ABS, yellow BRAKE, yellow DSC lights on. Manual says that means there is a DSC malfunciton?????

only thing I can think of is the front wheels weren't turning or rears turning diff speeds due to one was wheel only?

car drives normal, abs seems to work, DTC button not working?
anyways, did I break it? do I need to take it to dealer to reset the thing?

these things that sensitive?

any ideas or advice or input?

thanks all

It'll go away. Same things happens when you get smogged on a dyno.

Well... 400 miles later, the lights are still on? Car drives fine, new tires work great, just like to figure out how tog tether lights to reset? Anyone with any ideas? Or do I need a visit to the dealer?

Thanks in advance

Is there a dyno mode on these cars? If so put the car in dyno mode, drive it a few miles and then return it to normal. That works on an M5, I had a similar problem a couple years ago. If no dyno mode try turning off the DSC, driving it and then turning the car off remove key and then restart it to see if it reset the DSC light.
