Nice...I did an extra set of mine last year but haven't had time to clear them yet to mount.

What does the mirror side look like ? Or are these just caps ?

These are actually mirror covers - not caps - they are from Tekarbon ($300/pair). You can see the carbon overlay on the mirror side as well (I'll try and post a photo tomorrow).

ps. fitment is great - the mirrors were a little tight, but works okay (meaning you can adjust them easily with the power controls).

do you have better pictures than that? Those are good close ups but im interested in the over car view.

Also, can you elaborate on the install? You have to replace the mirror/glass from the oem unit or?

Will try and get more pictures posted when I get back (traveling). The install was done by my BMW dealer. The dealer mentioned that it took the place of the original housing perfectly (slightly tighter was the only comment), and no additional parts were necessary - I assume if you're mechaincally inclined, you could do it yourself.

bump for more info!

I hate to think what the dealer charged for installing that - eek! I would def DIY. Only time I go to the dealer / a shop is either for free things like maintenance or warranty and the occasional alignment.
