I have pictures. I received a call today that it is all tacked together. They want me to verify everything is in place before the final welding... Hopefully I can do that tomorrow, and have start the mounting process this weekend.
$40.00 in metal and it can all be cut and shaped if you have basic garage tools. The welding is the issue. I had to think out side the box for that. |

What trailer light adapter did you use for the trailer lights? No one make a unit specifically for the Z4 so I guess you had to do some modifying. |

Just use a tail light converter with the 4 pins plug that go to the trailer on one side and 5 wires on the other side like this one:
Those are wiring harness plug that go to the brake light White = Ground On the driver side: blue/green go with yellow = Left turn green/black go with red = Stop purple/green go with brown = taillight On the passenger side: blue/brown go with green = Right turn Last edited by Gt4; 04-05-2014 at 08:46 AM.. |
