it looks amazing!
i'd have to stop drinking fluids at least 3 days ahead of driving that road... anything at all in the tank and i'd likely pee myself at some point there.

I get to Dubai at least once a year. Too bad we are not allowed to drive there. Your government provides us with a driver...
If not, it would be a road trip in our spare time.. |

Had no idea there was terrain like this in UAE. Thought it was mostly sandy desert. Looks pretty exciting!

The first time I was sent to Dubai, somebody forgot to get us a driver, so I rented a car. We had to drive from, what I call 'hotel strip' down to Jebel Ail every day. Everytime I went above 125Kph, the car would beep like hell at me... "The Building" had just started construction....... |

You can make it go away by changing the coding...

Thanks Shippy, but I'd need the coding cable and whatnot, I've never messed with that stuff before. Have you? Cheers mate

There's a road similar to that in Baguio, Philippines called the zig-zag road. Probably sharper curves with higher mountains.

When did they stop allowing expats to drive? I used to go over often in the 80's and early 90's and rented a car each time. Only thing is you must have a driver's license. But you can get one in a couple of hours.

Expats can drive, possibly an issue with armed forces driving as civi's here?? Sides that can't think of anything that would stop you driving. I am an xpat after all.
