245, 255, or 265 for ET38 Rear

I purchased new rims today for my non M and was told to get 245/35/19 Using anything wider than 245/35 will rub on these 19x9.5 ET38 rear

Can anyone confirm that 265/30 is not possible with the rims and vehicle mentioned above?

I would go 255/30 since it keeps you at stock height and it should not rub. 245/35 is too tall and 265 may rub.

Would 245/35 stretch on 9.5" rims more, thus making it not as tall or the same as 255/30 ?
