ride comfort
Just got back from about a 2k road trip - Wisconsin to Charleston, s. Car. and up the coast to Myrtle Beach and the Outer Banks. She handled great the whole way - not bad for an eleven year old! The only drawback is the height of the door - it really kills the shoulder after a while. Amazingly the suspension didn't bother my back with all the jostling, especially the numerous potholes in Indiana! Run flats also held up to some really nasty suprises!

The car is meant for driving for sure!
Glad you had fun. Interested in the shoulder issue--are you saying the fixed armrest is too high? |

Damn, too bad you were not down here this coming week....... it has finally returned to chamber of commerce weather. The forecast until Sunday the 11th is sunny with highs in the lower 80's

I don't have a problem with my back, but since I'm 6'5" I have zero room to move my legs or shift position. My ass gets really sore after 3 hours. it's a bummer.

I'm guessing he's resting his elbow on the open window sill

It is the window sill height that can get to a formerly dislocated shoulder from keeping it that high for any length of time.
If I got rid of the run flats then I wouldn't have anywhere near enough room for luggage for a week let alone a month's worth - especially with a convertible! |

I think the car rides great, but the (or at least mine) seats suck. If I keep his car, that is one thing I am going to have to fix.
