Btw, search for Jared Bronson from SuperSprint North America and give him a call. He will sort it out faster than anyone and will give you a much better price.

Is it true the SS Stepped headers have a lot of drone? How do the Euro's compare in that regard? I would imagine that there's not a lot w/ them, but would be happy if someone would comment

Just pulled another trigger and finished my exhaust by ordering the supersprint X-Pipe too,
Figured while I have it all out to do the headers I might as well,

So my setup will be

Supersprint V2 Stepped Headers ----> OEM Euro Section 1 Cat Pipe Part #: 18307836634 ----> Supersprint X-Pipe ----> Supersprint Powerloop cans

Something like this but with the euro pipe in place of the supersprint cats

Hope so,

Not a huge fan of loud buzzy exhausts,
but I was so impressed at the sound from the powerloops I decided to carry on with the supersprint products and technically go "full" supersprint setup,
The powerloops are very exotic sounding as is, this should bump them up a little, but hopefully not too much

It's crimped at a few places,
And the resonator too,
Overall I think the stock x pipe is a good design, but I got the x pipe at an awesome price I couldn't resist

There are some pics out there of the stock x pipe in the net shoeing the crimps

If you get the adapter sleeves they will,
Or the rogue engineering ones will,
I was going to get the rogue myself bit it made more sence to go full supersprint

Nice! I just ordered the SS V2 stepped as well. At this point I'm just mating the SS headers with OE section one and the rest stock. Does anyone know what gains this will produce over U.S. OEM headers aside from the nice flat tq curve? Starscream....are you expecting any gains out of this setup as opposed to just adding the headers? or is this more for sound? I finally came to my senses and decided to keep the car

I'm sure the X pipe and the rear cans must help over not having them?

Really looking forward to getting them

I'm kinda worried about smog now lol. I'll ask my special source if they can pass OBD2 cars as well. If so, then I'll just ease my troubles

Worst comes to worse, smog should be at least a year off from now
Originally, I was just planning on putting in Diokaef's section1 coming out (no idea when, but eventually -_- ), and putting in some cats to pass sniffer. But I just saw Pokey's comment here:

So, that's why I'm a bit worried now heh.

But anyhow, here's a vid of my JVT headers (Ebay SS knock-offs) and SS Race mufflers on a DynoJet:

Skip to 1:35 , 2:55, and 4:56 for the three pulls respectively. Will save you a lot of boredom lol, unless you really wanna watch the whole thing.

Getting past emission will require either modding your US Section 1 Cat pipe or doing what I did and getting a Euro Cat pipe,
Only problem is the Euro pipe is very rare and pricey,

When all my supersprint stuff makes it Stateside I shall take some photo's of my Euro cat pipe and whole setup for you all,
I have a few pics of it snapped on my iPhone but I wanted to wait until I got it all to make a thread,

I'm sure you plan to do this, but if you could please get some focused pics of how they placed the O2 sensors and EGT bung on the euro section 1 that would be great. Once we have locations for these and how they did it on the euro pipe, all we need is to find a good welder locally....
