looks like the 795$ price is back up to 995$ as i looked at the website today. any idea on when this sale price would change again?

Just a butt dyno, but short answer; YES!
There are lots of other review posts and my impressions are the same.

I've had it since late '08, and it lives up to the claims. Palantion (sp) has dyno supported graphs of the software and BMS exhaust enhancements. It's worth the price

im so in! i'd like to wait, but if i gotta buy early when the price is right, i will do it. but i agree with most others, i cant see myself paying 1000 dollars for a chip

He let me in today at $750. Lowest he'd go for now. Id go for it at that price. He will need to send you a coupon code.

This may be a stupid question, but I'm planning on adding headers later and want to avoid a CEL. Would I have to pay to have the ECU reprogrammed again post-header install if I bought the software now?

I would call. Some will do a reflash for free(powerchip wont but I bet ESS will).

Thanks guys. Gonna run this by Skelekitty. She's been taking about powdercoating or painting the wheels black (came with some curb rash, and she likes the black on Imola look). My bet is on the chip if we can get in on the 750 price. She's way more into performance than cosmetic mods.

Edit: Just asked, tune it is assuming I can get the price!

Just do it when you get it now. I asked them about this and they said that (in-short) it only disables the sensors. So there's no detrimental problems if you get it without actually having headers on. The only problem is if you actually do have a cat malfunction, a warning light doesn't come on. And if you do it later like inTgr8r said, it's a $100 and a few days waiting for the mail.

Or God forbid you put the 02's in the wrong bung(common mistake). But if you label them real well this should not be a problem.

I next day'd mine out and did the return for second day air. Shipped out this morning. Will have back Friday afternoon. If you next day'd boith ways I suppose three day turn around.
