Just got my new track shoes. These are the new Titan-7 forged wheels. I went with a square set up 18x9.5 with the 22mm offset, Tires 265/35R-18 Yokohama ADVAN A052 XL

Shaved off just over 4.5 pounds per wheel. Not as pretty as the HRE's, but should be interesting to see how they perform on the track.

Looks great. How much does it poke out at the front? Got a side shot of the front? Thanks

No rubbing on hard cornering on the fender/bumper connecting tab? Or was this shaved out?

Boxes of parts are fun to come and see waiting on you!

Nothing exotic or fun but really needed two things, have to replace the third brake light which was cracked and then fell on ground broken and a windshield frame cover.

Haven't purchased the windshield frame cover bolts because the stealership wants $180 for some screws.

deemo,
Can you do a bit of a commentary on the removal of windshield frame cover when you do it.
My A pillar covers vibrate a bit and I believe you need to remove those to R&R the piece above the windshield.

Looking to put some small pieces of HVAC putty in strategic locations to stop the rattles.

I will. My plan is to have my indy complete it once I have another source for the numerous bolts.

Once you take it apart it's interesting to see how the headliner attaches and the thin layer of sound-deadening material.

The little motor that attaches the hooks to the windshield stays hot due to the current while driving is also interesting to see.

I'm getting ready to replace my windshield frame cover as well. I have the part in my saved list at ECS. I saw the screws for this on realoem, and I think this is the parts we need:

Are you looking to remove just the interior plastic A-pillar covers? If so they're very easy, did it twice when I installed/removed my dash cam in my roadie.

Take the 4 screws out to remove the vanity mirrors and the centre trim pops out, once that's removed the A-pillar pieces come off rather easily. Reverse to re-install.

Shown in this video here:

I haven't seen those on their before because I didn't even think about looking for them there. And that's a great link, thank you.

I was informed by the local stealership, Fields BMW that it required four sets of them which seems like a lot.

I did a spot check of mine back when I researched the parts and saved them in my ECS future purchase folder. "If" I am recalling this correctly, it just takes the one set. I also removed a couple of mine, and they came out and re-screwed back in fine, so unless you damage/strip one that's in there now, the set is kind of a back-up should you need one or two extras. I think the dealership screwed up stating you need 4 sets.

Looking for extra storage and looking to buy these first aid kit boxes.
Couple of questions for ya if i may, Where did you buy these from? Second, you know what the part # is for the 2 screws/bolts? I found 2 places that sell these kit boxes, but none mention anything about the hardware.
have the Bmw part #?
edit: found the part #07149169302 but its no longer available
Thanks

I have some of my original bolts but would rather have a full set of new bolts to go with the new windshield frame cover, that way everything is new.

So I will order a set from ECS with the link you kindly provided.
