Oil inside fuel injector receptacle?

While removing the injectors wire-harness, I found oil inside the connectors
Did that happen to you guys? if so how did you fix it? Thanks in advance.

That is very strange because that can't get there by itself.

Are you sure it's not petrol?

If it's really oil some mechanic put it there, maybe to loosen the connectors more easily or fight off possible corrosion.

It is extremely unlikely that your ccv is venting so much oil it creeps up possible multiple leaking injectors (before someone suggests that )

maybe its dielectric grease that got some soot in it. that would be pretty much the same color and consistency as oil.

weird

My guess is it's some previous mechanic's voodoo substitute for dielectric grease.
That's a sealed connector. Epoxy on the inside, boot on the outside.
Nothing should be able to get into it from either end unless it was put there on purpose.

Thanks for the feedback.
I cleaned up the oil and going to see if it magically forms back I think that should be it.
