Ditched my '11 R56 MCS for this earlier this year (MCS didn't like stopping in snow even w/ Blizzaks). Crappy pic but not bad for a hand held shot in a -25F windchill.

Ultimate Vanilla Machine for me, so I won't bore you with a picture of my '14 Dodge Journey R/T. It's a company car, so I really don't have much to complain about, although I won't go so far as to recommend it to a friend spending their own money.

[IMG][/IMG]Not in the winter setting, but you get the idea. She will go any where with snorkel, all wheel drive, 4 wheel drive, and lockers front and rear.

My winter ride is a 6 speed 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser Special Edition. I bought it new almost 8 years ago.

Slight thread hijack. Looks like we will be relocating to southwest Colorado in the next year or two where there is something called weather, unlike San Diego. Suggestions for a year round dd that is suitable for light to medium snow? Already have the truck option covered. thx

Not sure if Winter applies here, but this is the family Hauler.

For light to medium snow, unless you are living out in the middle of nowhere (or want to go there), get whatever you want and either deal with all season tires or get Winter tires (or even chains if in the mountains). There's a reason people all over the world buy small/medium cars regardless of where they live.

I am assuming you have been to where you are moving (for me I would visit before committing), have you seen what people are driving?

Typically all-wheel drive compact suv's. Always interested in what the enthusiast community thinks and if any preferred makes/models. thx

Nice Jeep. What's that thing you put in place of the passenger side mirror?
