"MZ4"
Saw a dude with mass vanity plates "MZ4" parked outside copley square about 15 minutes ago. Normally not that big of a deal...
But dude had my exact same color combo!!! HAHAHAH nice. I love how hot my car looks. He had a BMW CCA decal on his car, maybe I should join the local chapter...

Probably something good enough to meet BMW CCA track specs but cheap enough to not break the bank. 200 doesn't sound too bad.

You are looking at $400 or more. You need a Snell 2000 or better rating.

my is Snell 2005 rated and I didn't pay anywhere close to $400. My Pyrotech was only $125 and it has been a great helmet so far! My only gripe was that I got an open faced one and after seeing my self in the mirror i relized that I should have opted for the full face one.

I'm telling you Zgirl. All you need to do is S/C it and give it an exaust, hood and bumper upgrades, and it would be just as fast and look just as good for a lot less money. You could probably get yourself an ///M Steering wheel too

I have the equivalent SA2005 openface from Bell. I didn't want to have my face covered inside the car - I have a windshield for that and like the airflow on my face - I just tilt my mirror so I can't see the ugly face looking back at me

Actually it looks like you can get the SA2005 version. My friend is getting this for his wife. I'm still using my full face Arai Astral helmet from my motorcycle. Not sure what I'll replace it with eventually.

You need to test fit the helmets first. Different brands will fit different noggins differently.
This is another good brand, Zamp is the American distributor of European Bell helmets. http://www.soloracer.com/zamphelmets.html You want to avoid open face helmets for cars with airbags. Studies have shown that as the airbags deploy, they ride up on the rim of open face helmets and push the helmet backwards. |
