Very cool, looks like a fun drive. Whats the radio looking thing you have in the center console? External mic maybe?

Yup that's an external audio recorder with a mic suction cupped to the trunk, unfortunately it still didn't turn out that good. Will have to keep experimenting on best position.

Cool video mate! The thought of summer top-down countryside drives is almost reason enough to regret buying the Coupe... Thanks for sharing!

Did you attach the mic on the top of the trunk? Perhaps having it actually inside the trunk? If the trunk's empty maybe it'll probably pick up a lot of the exhaust note but without any wind noise?

The mic was on the back of the trunk, still had wind noise even though it had a deadcat on it. I'll try the trunk next time, afraid it'll just be extreme reverb.

Nice video! But you need to smile more. You've got a great car and smokin' girlfriend. :-) It looked like she was the only one enjoying the ride.

Again, cool vid. Much better way to capture the moment than just a picture.
