The Z4MC won't see the track next summer...
Because I just bought a Z3M Coupe track/race car
It's a 1999 Z3MC Cosmo black with beige interior. I will switch the dashboard for black soon. It has the S52 engine with Turner Motorsport stage 2 (3.5 HFM, 3.5 throttle body, ...), Wilwood 6 pot front BBK, Moton Clubsport 14 clicks newer version, 3 sets of 17'' wheels (BBS RK, Roadstars, Kosei), swaybars, camber plates, diffsonline 1.5 way 3.73 LSD, Accusump, Setrab oil cooler, aluminum rad, Magnaflow muffler, catless exhaust, rollcage... But the car is not in great shape overall. Body is a bit rough. It needs some love. The roll cage is not properly done and I will do a new one myself. I will do Nascar type door bar on driver side to make some space to get in and out of the car. I will also get a new oem roof with the sunroof delete option. This will help me when I will weld the A-pillars to main hoop and rear strut tower to main hoop bars. Car now weight 2850lbs with glass windows, full doors, sound deadening, ... I will try to lower that to 2500lbs. |

Nice new ride for the track, now you have a nice ride for track and one for cruising in towns.

Thanks guys
I will work on the chassis this year but I would like to swap a S54 in it next year. And maybe transfer the ESS Vt445 on the Z3MC in the future!!! |

Have you considered a euro s50/s52 swap over the s54? Should be even more straight forward than the s54, and similar in power.

I am also looking at the S65/S85 option. That way, I would already have an ESS vt445 S54 donor car and the Z4MC would stay with same power range or more but NA and wouldn't be jealous of the Z3MC |

I slowly start to gutted the interior.
DANGER TO MANIFOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There wasn't just 10 rivets but also windshield urethane that hold the floor in place... The guy must has been traumatized when he saw Fast and Furious 1 back in the days! I installed OMP pedals with more grip, a Jaffster shift knob and made a temporary DTM style steering wheel (used to be the battery hold down). I sold the 300mm Momo steering wheel and will get a 350mm OMP instead. |

They are already sold!!!
Actually, the car came with 3 sets of 17": OEM Roadstars, Kosei K1 and BBS RK. But I don't like the size and offset of those wheels. I am going 18" with 18x9 et32 front and 18x10.5 et19 rear with 255/35 and 285/30 |

These cars are known for the diff mounts tearing the rear floor area. Be certain you address that issue if it has not already been addressed.

The rear end is reinforce and the suspension is also modify to get more camber adjustment than stock. All the suspension is mount on delrin/solid bushings.
