so the m coupe is retired for the winter, and my wife is driving our e90 328 xdrive. im in my lifted f150 all day at work and like the clearence and capability of it during our winter months is awesome. so i came across this, and pulled the trigger. x5 lci 35d with sport, tech, premium, exec...it was delivered with dunlop sport tires which had to get changed right away for something more appropriate. toyo gi5 winters in 275/40/20 and 315/35/20. this is a beast in the snow! i can now enjoy both seasons

i wanted to go with a narrower tire, but the rear oem wheels are 20x11. i test fitted a 19x9 and it was sunken in 5" from the fender flares lol. surpisingly though, its very planted and has awesome pickup in the snow.

We had a Deep Sea Blue/Tobacco Brown X5 35d. Loved that car, ended up being a lemon, real shame. Enjoy it, should be a great winter vehicle.

I still have my OEM hitch from my E70 X5 if interested to use it for a bike rack or tow a trailer.

I had a set of black Style 215 on my X5, I think they look great for summer. Tires are 285 front and 325 rear and wheels are also 1/2'' wider. It fill the fender/flush look. And keep the style 214 for winter = win win!

I was also looking for a small drop before I sold my X5, something like 2'' front and 1.2'' rear.

I dont have air suspension, but it does sit about 1" lower than a standard x5. Not really interested in lowering it however. I really enjoy the current ride and dont want to sacrifice. I was looing at the 1.2" h&r springs, but have read they kill the ride. Kw are over 3k and I cant justify spending that much on suspesnion for my wifes car lol

it didnt take long for me to change my mind. added a bunch of small accessories, painted body parts and color match grille. the wheels are 22" bmw performance style wheels with 295/335 rubber. looks insane from the rear. oem aerokit coming next 2 weeks or so. by that time winter will almost be over and the z4m coupe will start receiving some love again, and a new set of shoes!
