CSLs gone gone gone....

Teaser alert

i loved the CSL i really did.... sadly every man and his dog in the UK seems to have them with endless Replica wheels on every bmw i see from 1 series to z series so i decided to stick on my spare track wheels and sell the CSLs...
just ordered some new Ad08Rs and these are genuine 260m Euro m3 wheels in ferric which looks like bronze.... the car looks incredible, the offsets are aggressive at the front... Love the overall look, so heres a quick teaser.
These are my fave current bmw wheel, the bronze colours looks surprisingly awesome again the Ti paint... more pics tomorrow!! my son started crying and killed cartime :-( the wheel studs stick out slighty but very pleased with them..... wheel centres have now been added!

I suggest removing your /m emblem. Too many m's lol. Wheels look pretty good. The bronze color looks interesting, a few users here are running them in a charcoal finish

how much do the wheels weigh?

when are you getting the new tires mounted? I have the regular AD08, and wanted to see how the stickier versions do. Mine gripped well when they were new, but grip decreased mid-life for some reason

the grip decreased for straight line. I'm just spinning in 2nd more than before. With added torque now especially.

I'd give the updated Ad08Rs a try, they have a softer compound. plus, the pricing is great as you've mentioned

Awesome wheels and I agree on the CSL's losing is appeal since everyone and their mother is rocking a set of replicas. And those oe m3 wheels look great, I think they look even better than their 19" version. Get some center caps and it'll be complete.

Regarding tires, I never tried AD08's but my last street set were Hankook RS-3's and I can say the grip was there till the very end. I've decided to step up to my first set of R-comps which are R888's but if they don't meet my expectation I may just go back to the RS-3's. For the price, you just can't beat the Hankooks.

I really like the color of the wheels, nice contrast to the color of the car.

you are right tbh.... i agree... however if you run loads of camber like i do anyway no probs at all, im still getting shoulder wear on the track so im happy with this amount of camber and may add more, cant wait to get back on track with the 18s in place.

love the rear too... with a 40 section tyre they look uber meaty, this needs to come down to a 35 section, the 40 just looks to much imo.

I've been good, just been really busy with school and work. Haven't had much time to work on the car either, though I did just put on some new pilot super sports (plus raised the rear coilovers and dialed out some camber) and they hook up amazing compared to my RS3s! I was spinning the RS3s in 3rd gear at will and now I can hook up in 1st; combined with cooler temps here and it's a rocket now!!

a word of note brake caliper clearance was LOADS with these, around 6-7mm to the barrell and 15mm+ from spoke to caliper face, you could get a 380mm brake setup under these with the wheel weights moved.
