Does it go underneath the mufflers as well similar to the picture below?

The only issue I see is that you loose the differential cooling air.

Based on the response here, it would have to be a fairly low price, low margin, but high VOLUME seller

It does, but has two NACA ducts to allow some airflow to keep the differential temps in check.

Anything I've seen regarding sales on THIS specific forum has never gone into HIGH volume . It has all stayed below 100 units even by the end of several group buys.

Making whomever is doing the R&D, tooling and associated costs understand the payout is minimal for time & money.

To do this smart....if you guys can come to a reasonable ACTUAL purchase price for such a part/parts.....then I could budget the outlay of materials and its final build quality.

Bare in mind....those $2k full diffusers are often cored and full CF lay-ups, post cured with heat to fully align molecules for best rigidity and strength-(read no warp, sag or print-through).

The further from those parameters we go due to loss of budget....the lower the quality. My methods can only go so low before I have to bow out.

I'd rather spend my time on the model/plug than at my computer doing 3-d renderings. I'm neck deep in work as it stands, so I have to prioritize carefully.

I will just say, this design has 3 parts so as to allow a buyer a full pan girth or just the center section- (which goes up to the rear-most OEM mesh/grille).

The added two parts are the left & right muffler pans that will have fasteners to attach.

This might curb the price points for some who might find the full unit out of range or outside their $ comfort zone for mods such as this.

Yes, I will. A new thread would certainly be more fair to the OP. Sorry for the jack friends.

Yeah I think a reasonable volume you can be sure to sell is about 25 initial, 50 within a year or 2, and 100 eventually...

If I were you, I'd get into the mindset of creating cool parts for yourself and the top 10 guaranteed enthusiasts you will definitely find. It might not be rewarding financially, but it would be a great hobby. Talking about parts that you'd need to sell for over $500 to break even for this scenario.

Thats what I've witnessed as well. Which isn't terrible if I can watch my materials outlay and margins and have 20 different tools on rotation in batch form annually.

Looks like I'll be multi-tasking CF roofs-M hood-rear diffuser-brake ducts-Aero sides-Coupe hatch spoiler-Cf Hatches etc. for awhile.

Dark...Unless I'm misunderstanding you, not sure why you're multi-tasking on all these right now and not have a single thing done. If it was me, I would devote all my time to the favorite project first and start selling that. When demands for that falls off and you have extra time, then start phasing in on your 2nd project, etc...

Multitasking is the only way to go when there are different curing cycles with different resin systems, not to mention modeling clay firming times. All of these steps require their own time to get it right. Its not like all of a sudden I'll have 10 molds completed due to spreading them out. It will be one mold set unveiling at a time, polishing and prep for a sample pull etc. If it is a mult-part component , then tests must be run for trim jigs and fitment specs.

In other words....I'd have a lot of stop-n-go time on my hands if I didn't stay on tasks. This is the Resin Infusion world I live in......the open-mold, wet-lay-up guys can do it much faster, but that also yields a inferior part by far too.

"Single thing done" ?! Are you kidding me ? You have no idea what I accomplish in my 7 day work week. Your simply viewing this by 'Zpost only world'. And there is no "Favorite" project or part. No one on here loves the same things enough to call them Favorite.

I don't have 30 employee's and multiple depts. covering my designs, purchasing, modeling, fabrication, etc. all with day laborer wages.

I think I'll just log off for a few months , everyone seems to know how to do composites better than the ones financing and doing all the R&D on all of this.I don't need the aggravation.

Gawd I need a break, getting touchy.

Awesome

IMO a good diffuser will probably sell 10:1 some of the other things.
Can't wait to see what you come up with!!!!!!!!
