my youtube isn't working right now

I posted a thread about the Z3 Coupe that a Russian team put together with a V10 in it, if that's the one you're referring to. I haven't seen this one yet.

Mnahart Racing did a V10 M Coupe as well, iirc. Cool upgrade since the V10 weighs only a bit more than the iron-block S54.

Damn, i give credit to all these engine swap guys. I dont think id ever be confident enough to do that to my car.. However, IDK about you guys, but when i think about the z4m i think of it with a straight 6. To me its like having a viper v10 in a mustang. Sick.. but kind of blasphemous lol. just how my heart feels. no disrespect to anyone who thinks otherwise

Wonder how that handles. Is the V10 much heavier than our iron I6?

Nope, it's under 50lbs different, iirc. It has an aluminum block where the S54 is iron.

It's as I suspected, since the S85 engine is based off the V10, and the V8 weighs less than our S54. If the driving dynamics remain relatively unchanged...A+ for this swap. Definitely enjoy seeing someone walk a different route than ESS s'charging!

I plan on the V10 swap in the future
By the the time my S54 needs replacing, the V10 will probably be affordable

btw, I'm surprised that it's so quiet at idle. Very sleeper-like =P

and I thought the rear plate said "hornies"

Should I win the lottery, i might consider the swap. Would be a hell of a sleeper.
